Hi all,

I'd like to meet some gals in a non-bar / night club setting. I'm new to this and was wondering if there were any other kind of events already running? If not... well I just might have to make one. :)

I also am trying to meet people in a non-bar setting.  Maybe we could start a coffee group in the New Year.  :D

That would be excelent girls!

I was a bit fed up with sites like same same, not everyone is into that scene. (Althought I do love to dance, but this way we can really get to know each other.)

Anyone got suggestions for a great coffe house?

Well, here in Geelong is a cafe called "Cafe Go", and it's very gay friendly.  In Melbourne, we can always meet at Hares and Hyenas in Fitzroy.

Merry Christmas

Hares & Hyenas sounds great, but I'm guessing you will want to meet on weekends which won't work for me. I work weekends. :(

I'm a bit of a newb too, but that sounds great.

Also, I'll start up a thread if there isn't one already, but once a month {also} runs Rooftop if anyone has heard of that. Not too many members but lovely girls in a friendly atmosphere :)

Sounds interesting Sherry, but I'm just slightly over the maximum age limit for rooftop (by erm...8 years! Lol)

Johoanna, weekdays sound great for us (although while the school holidays are on, I'd have to bring my daughter along) but I doubt it would suit many others, which kind of defeats the purpose of having a coffee group. Haaa.

Would weekdays suit anyone else? Perhaps evenings at a nice restaurant could be an option?

It would be nice to get some interest from others.

This website has quite a few members, but it's a shame only a small handfull seem to be active.

I can only come during the day.  I don't drive and refuse to catch the train after about 5 or 6pm at night.  Don't feel safe.  Unless there's someone else from Geelong who wants to come up with me.  Then I'm happy to chip in for fuel and parking.

If you girls are up for it, bunch of us is meeting up for a picnic this Sunday :) then if you feel like it you can join us to Sundaylicious @ Wharf hotel after. I've organised meet up at 1pm on Flinders then we'll walk along alexandra gardens. Probably head out Sundaylicious around 3ish but don't feel obliged to come. If you don't feel like going out, you girls can stay at the picnic.

There will be first timer as well, and I'll personally welcome you with hugs as I know how daunting it is to go meeting randoms lol

If you are on fb click here for details

Hope you all had a joyful christmas and even more amazing new year celebrations :)

Hey girls,

I'll be in Melb all this week and the following two Tuesdays during the day if anyone feels like doing coffee/dinner.

If there's any interest I'll make a facebook event for it.

It doesn't hurt to do something absolutely outrageous.

Unfortunately I couldn't come to the picnic on Sunday.  Hopefully I'll be able to come next time.

Hey all. I'm new to this, relatively, and whilst I love going out to bars etc, I'd also love to meet up with other chicks outside of that. So would definitely love to hang out on a week night or weekend if a group from here was organised...

Hi girlz, this topic is looking great. :) i rarly get the notifications from this site  So I have a proposal. I run a spiritual and well being business, and I would love to be the moderator for this group. I will run it from a site called meet up and facebook. So feel free to add Angel House on facebook and then send an email to amyvandenberg@live.com.au (It is easier to email me as with all the junk i get on fb,  I tend not to check the messages.) I propose a monthly open age meet up. It will be eaiser to run it through fb as i can invite you add  from a contact list and then you can recieve fb noticications of events.

Let me know what you think.

Also who wants to come to midsummer with me?
